Peter and the Star Catcher: Opens November 9th

Tahoma High School’s drama club is putting on “Peter and the Starcatcher.” The play is based on the novel written by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson.

The play is directed by Paul Rempfer and the assistant directors Katrina Paige and Joel Thompson. The story is like a prequel for the original story of Peter Pan.

Peter and his friends go on an adventure on a voyage to the island of Rundoon. The group finds a magical chest full of Star Stuff and decided to protect it from the evil pirate Black Stache.

“Peter and the Starcatcher” will be performed at the Tahoma Performing Arts Center and will be on November 9th, 10th, 16th, and the 17th, the performances on the 9th and 17th will be at 7:00pm, and the performances on the 10th and 17th will be at 2:00pm. The costs of the tickets are $10.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors and students, and $5.00 for children. Rebecca Swerdloff, a member of the play said, “The play is going to be hilarious! We have an amazing director who made amazing casting decisions.”
