The Upcoming Frozen Play
Snow, frozen castles, talking snowmen… everybody is familiar with this famous description, and marvelously produced movie, loved by people of all ages: Frozen!
Tahoma Drama is proud to represent Washington in The United States of Frozen contest!
With months of brainstorming, practicing, and building, the play will finally come to life on the PAC stage as of January 19.
The cast members and directors have put in incredible effort, and worked hard to provide the best performance they possibly could to their audiences. Everyone in the THS community is proud to support our very talented drama club, and our amazing directors, Melissa Bean, the Theatre Arts teacher and director, and Ken Riggs, the Choir teacher, and musical director.
Although it all came together in the end, this play did not come as an easy procedure.
The Process
The cast members and directors have worked incredibly hard to master scripts, practice a great deal, and build significant stage presence. Our directors, and cast members put a lot of their time into bringing this play to life.
A few of our cast members were ecstatic to share about the production, and their own personal experiences.
“The hardest part would definitely have to be learning all the dances,” Olive Dorrough, a cast member, said. “They are very important, and precise.”
When asked about her favorite part of the experience, Dorrough stated, ”My most favorite part of this whole experience would have to be getting to know new people and become close, and definitely doing something I love. Acting.”
She also proudly admitted that the other cast members were extremely hard workers, super fun, and very devoted to their roles.
Sage DeVoss also added, “Working with everyone is so fun, and this really helps me get involved with Tahoma High School, and to enjoy my high school years.”
DeVoss and Dorrough both claimed the most unsatisfactory part has been the long hours at school, but both agreed that the most amazing part has been all the memories they’ve made.
