Hi! My name is Leah Dobrucki and I am a 16 year old sophomore here at Tahoma High School. This is my first year writing for Tahoma News and I'm super excited to be an editor and a writer. Outside of school I play hockey for the Washington Wild on their 19U team and Kent Valley on their 18U team and this is my second year playing. I also enjoy listening to music, hanging out with my friends and family, and watching hockey. Some fun facts about me, last year me and my hockey team won the league championship, my favorite hockey teams are the Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL), LA Kings, New York Islanders and the Calgary Flames. I have one older sister who is a senior here at THS and I have two cats. And lastly my favorite music artists are Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Phoebe Bridgers and Gracie Abrams.
