Snowboarding Season

Snowboarding season is here!

If you go to Snoqualmie or Crystal you will want to know all of the details for this upcoming season. Starting off at Summit at Snoqualmie, there is a total snowfall of 426 inches. The Summit at Snoqualmie opened December 2.

According to two Tahoma students, snowboarding is important to them every year and that it is a sport that is worth the distance.

Freshman Ian Schmutzer said that he has been skiing since he was seven years old. He enjoys skiing and goes every other year. He says that other people should find an interest in the sport.

Duke Carrier, another freshman at Tahoma, said that he has been snowboarding since he was 7, going with his family and friends. He said it’s an important tradition to his family and that he recommends that other people should start going if they don’t already.

In summary, the mountain is officially open and snowboarding and skiing season is about to begin. Make sure you get your equipment ready for this season and be safe on the slopes.
