Amira Ahmed, Writer

Hello students,

If you are looking for a place to unwind or somewhere that you can enjoy quality time with your friends, I hope that through this you can learn some helpful information and gain some knowledge regarding some of the attractions that you can visit.

Easy Street Records

This store is a beautiful hangout spot with a cafe inside that serves American breakfasts, burgers, and salads. This store has a wide selection of records from many different genres old and new. The aesthetic of the store is beautiful and the employees are very welcoming and accepting of their customers. The store opens at 9am and closes at 9pm and the kitchen is open from 7am to 3pm. Overal, the atmosphere is very comforting and it’s something you have to experience at least once.

Homefront Smoothies & ice cream

This store has the best quality of ice cream that I’ve had in a while. They have a wide selection of treats including ice cream, shaved ice, bubble tea, fresh fruit and vegetable juices, etc. The amount  of flavors they have will have you staring at the menu for at least 5 minutes if you’re indecisive like me, probably 10. Overall, the employees are super friendly and sweet and are like family if you get to know them. Visit Homefront when you get the chance it will not disappoint

Bakery Nouveau

This bakery has a wide selection of food including pizza, cakes, tarts, macaroons, chocolates, cookies, etc. Bakery Nouveau’s menu varies seasonally and even weekly sometimes. The store’s hours range from 7 am-5pm. Bring your friends and have a fun time trying out what this bakery has to offer.

The Flora Bake House

This store is my absolute favorite bakery in all of West Seattle. The employees are the sweetest and will treat you with the best care. I think that the croissants and coffee there are to die for and deserve a lot more recognition. The menu ranges from coffee, teas, latte, and a wide selection of pastries with vegan and gluten-free options as well. Stop by this store when you get the chance. They also have an upstairs with beautiful decor and seats outside.

Kinokuniya Bookstore

This bookstore has a gorgeous layout. Most of the books displayed have been imported from japan with a wide selection of manga, cookbooks, studio ghibli collections, etc. The hours range from 10 am to 8 pm. Kinokuniya also includes a section of stationary, pens, brushes, and pencils.

Come visit these spots when you get the chance and bring some friends along. I hope you were able to gain some valuable information through this article and make some worthwhile memories in the future. Visiting these spots can ensure you have a great time in seattle.
