Your Ultimate Guide to the best HOCO

Makayla Saleumsay, Your ultimate guide to the best HOCO

Is your homecoming right around the corner for many people? You don’t know where to go or what to do? Well many people haven’t figured out where they want to go or are tired of the places they have gone to. Places are really expensive nowadays and people want to be on a budget or have fun. Well, here is your ultimate guide to the best places to take pics, eat at, and have a good time after homecoming (under a budget or not).

Dinners:

1- Mizu, Covington

Best place to go to when you have a one-on-one or a big group. Have food cooked in front of you and have people making jokes, resulting in the best dinner time ever. Mizu is a great place to go with a big group of friends and have the cooks cook in front of you. Mizu is a pretty cheap place to go, not the fanciest but it can hold a lot of memories. “Food is really good, they have the best fried rice,” Maile says.

2- Joeys, Bellevue

What if you just want to go with your date? Well, let me tell you Joeys is one of the best places to go. Classy, fancy, rich people… and expensive. Joeys is a gorgeous restaurant to go to. If it’s your last homecoming for high school, Joeys is one that will create great memories. Last time to go, why not go somewhere gorgeous or to start off on a good foot!

Pictures:

1- Garden Fields, Bellevue

Although yes, it is homecoming, we don’t need to go all-out. Garden fields in Bellevue is genuinely such a gorgeous place to have your photos taken; allowing you to be able to just have such beautiful photos for your family or social media. This place is so perfect for the cutest photos with your partner or even with your friends.

2- Kerry park – Seattle

Boo-hoo, yes Kerry Park is very basic but at the same time so gorgeous. A photo of where you are over-looking in Seattle with the space needle in the background. It’s better than having your lame backyard as your background..Kerry park is the prettiest park in Seattle and it’s perfect not just for you and your date, but also for you and a good group of friends.

After homecoming ideas:

1- SLUMBER PARTY

Very basic but beyond fun, having a slumber party with you and your friends is a good way to end off the night relaxing by talking about what your favorite part: the drama you overheard. It’s the best way to be able to let your night end off on a good note. Doing some masks after having the makeup on, making some good food, watching movies, and it’s October, so do some Halloween stuff while at you’re at it.

2- Go get food

Post dance might attract a huge appetite. Take your date and your group and go get some food! Try to hit some places that close a bit later. This is a great way to connect to your friends and create some more memories.
