Whack!

Upon enjoying a laid back lunch break with friends, I was approached by a rowdy quarrel of boys. Their mission? To barter over who would have me (apparently the only available girl worth considering for the position) on their dodgeball team. As my scoffs of disbelief were dismissed and the testimonies of a handful of witnesses satisfied me, amused, I agreed to play. Before my full sentence could emerge however, the boys pivoted on their heels, violently shoving one another and proceeded to race, full speed through the hall and vanished beyond the staircase. I remained at my table allowing bemusement to seep in the remaining bites of the sandwich in my hand. All at once the rowdy animals returned. One looking significantly more trimpuant than the others. “You’re on my team now, Addie.” He hollered with a smirk. I whirled around to face my close friend, “What?”

“He should have run faster!” The other retorted.

Yep. Readers, you’ve heard me right. Tahoma high schoolers are engaging in an epic dodgeball battle on the *May 25th.* Rally your favorite people, even teacher (or in my case, the first human of the opposite sex you see) to form a powerful team. Dodge on Tahoma.
