The spring show at Tahoma High School is Anastasia. The show is the first and second weekend of May. This is the first in person spring show in two years. It is very exciting that our drama students are taking the stage again!

What are students looking forward to for Anastasia? The responses were amazing.

“I am looking forward to watching the dancers. Because I have friends that are dancers in the show,” responded senior Miranda Marquart.

Dancers in school shows give extra movement and excitement. Their movement will attract your eye and make the show seem more real. The dancers will also have a spotlight and show off their special technique. It will be more exciting seeing the show in person. 

“I am looking forward to listening to the music in the play. I have friends that will be playing in the pit. I am excited to hear them,” responded also senior Rory Roberts.

It is special that Tahoma High School has a pit for the band. Music is a big part of a show. Especially because this show is a musical. The band will give the show a sense of feeling. We will feel the emotion of the show with the music and what it tells us.

Overall students are looking forward to watching Anastasia. Because they have dancers with amazing technique and they are very talented. Also their band will give you a sense of feeling excitement. And the band is in the pit, which is cool and unique. I encourage you to watch this show because our drama students have put a lot of work into this production and they would love to see you there to share in the experience.
