French Fry Taste Test

Since all Juniors and Seniors are getting lazier as the year progresses, we know you probably don’t pack a lunch. With that being said, we decided to figure out how long the trip would be to go to three of the most popular fast-food restaurants, Mcdonald’s, Wendys, and Chick-Fil-A. We also decided to order fries from each restaurant and rate which one is the best and compared the prices for each.

Starting off with Mcdonald’s, the classic fry. We rated their fry a 9.5/10 on average, as you can see in the video attached. The time it took to get there and back from the school was 16 minutes including the time in the drive-thru. This allows plenty of time to get back to school and eat. Our total for one large fry was $4.19 without tax, which is moderately affordable.

Moving on to Wendy’s, another classic. We rated their fry a 8/10 on average, also seen in the video below. The time it took to get there and back from the schools was 33 minutes including the time in the drive-thru. This was a much longer time leaving less time to eat, however, it might be worth the time it takes because of the foods they offer, such as the 4 for 4. The pricing for one large fry at Wendy’s was $3.86 without tax, which is also pretty good and slightly better than Mcdonald’s.

Lastly, we went to Chick-Fil-A. We rated their fry a 5.5/10 on average, you can watch the video to see our natural reaction. The time it took to get there and back was 29 minutes including the time in the drive-thru. This was the middle amount of time compared to the other two, however, everybody loves their chicken sandwich so it might be worth it. The pricing for one large fry at Chick-Fil-A was $3.85 without tax, which was surprisingly the least expensive, but seemingly less of a portion.
