Avocado never ceases to amaze me

Avocado never ceases to amaze me

Kieran Hoskinson, Writer

The internet, an amazing place is it not? You can find anything you need, some of it you didn’t even want to know, but you do anyway. So here I am, browsing the  “interwebs” if you will looking for something to bring life back into my eyes and help them sparkle once more; or in other words, find something to praise as a fourth article.

An avocado is a holy object, a treasure to anyone from California, so naturally, it is to me too.  Now I’m all for avocado slices and of course guacamole, but I never knew about all the uses of just one fruit. This single green divine deity can be used to make just about everything. Even if it’s not in the food itself, it goes great on anything as a side.

So, without further ado: Ways to eat an avocado

  • Just add salt and pepper, then take a bite!
  • Stuff the avocado with peppers and other fruits
  • Add it to your eggs
  • Good old fashion guacamole
  • Don’t have jelly?  Worry not, for your toast is 100% guaranteed to be completed with a spread of guacamole
  • No mayo in stock, avocado is the perfect replacement
  • Mix it in with your salad
  • It goes great in soups

I’ll be honest, there are so many things you can do with avocado that you could read this page for years before it was even close to being done, so instead, ill give you some of the links I used to find these superior culinary arts.

Now, of course, I’m not going to tell you about the massive variety of avocado goods without informing you on what avocado provides to your body. The Avocado is a source of vitamin C, E, K, and B6. it also gives riboflavin, folate, niacin, magnesium, pantothenic acid, and potassium. Avocado is even been proven to help you sleep better because the average avocado contains 9 grams of dietary fiber.

If you still are not convinced that this fruit is the wish from the holy grail, then how about I tell you its weight loss and sustain properties. Because of its high fiber, it is a great option to cut down on the weight you don’t want and reap the other benefits in the process. Avocados are also proven to give a boost to your metabolism and are keto-friendly.

In all id say there is no consequence to eating an avocado, as long as we glance over all the environmental issues that it causes. Anyways, that’s my take. Later
