Reese’s Pieces Candy Review

Mikayla Boyd

The delicious candy, Reeses Pieces was invented on November 15, 1928, by a man named Harry Reese. Reese was born on May 24, 1879, and was known as an inventor and businessman for creating the number 1 most selling candy brand in all of America, and founding the H.B. Reese Candy Company. He passed away on May 16, 1956, but was inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame in 2009.

Reese was born in York County, Pennsylvania on the Frosty Hill Farm. He started making money at a very young age by milking cows and selling frogs to restaurants. This later led him to make the peanut butter cups, which is now one of the best candies in the world.

I give this candy a 5/5 star rating. It has always been one of my favorite candies since I love chocolate and peanut butter. It’s a simple candy that’s not too overbearing or bland in flavor. Also, the candy comes in all different sizes from cups to pieces, to bars. Harry Reese’s candy was definitely a success and should be tasted by everybody.
