As most people know now Sketch, also known as Kylie Cox, has taken over the internet. He started as a streamer on the popular app Twitch, but now people are seeing it everywhere; TikTok, Youtube, Instagram, and X. 

       Sketch was a regular dude just like anyone else but he decided to start streaming himself playing a football video game called Madden, people started to pick up on him because of his funny catchphrases like, “What’s up brother” and “ Special teams, special plays, special players.” These saying got him so far that he even got to meet up with some players from his favorite team, the Houston Texans; he got to meet some of their star players like C.J Stroud, Tank Dell, and even Steffon Diggs. 

          Who is Sketch? Sketch is a 25 year old man who began streaming himself playing Madden, before he was famous he would act “normal”, but what really got him going is when he began to act like the character he is now. Sketch plays a character on stream who acts witty and very likable, he even changes his voice to make himself sound funnier. He didn’t always act as this character but once he did there was no looking back. Sketch is now one of the most popular streamers and is growing followers at a rapid amount.

          Not only did Sketch take over the internet but he has flooded Tahoma; there’s many people around the school that quote Sketch and even act like him, one of the people that we interviewed, Nathan, said that he saw a lot of people in his P.E class that actually did his sayings like,  “check Tuesday, check Tuesday” and “ what’s up brother.” This comes to show how popular Sketch is and how he even influenced Tahoma heavily. Suvan Silwal, another person that we interviewed, also said that he has seen several people around school as well, both of our interviewees also said that they see him a lot all over TikTok and find his character funny.

           Why is this relevant? It’s relevant because it shows how really anybody can make it big from streaming, Sketch didn’t do anything crazy, he just put in the work and found something that people found funny, and now he finds himself amongst the top streamers in the world; so if you want to stream and don’t know if it will pan out, try it out because you could end up hanging out with your favorite celebrities.
