Being outdoors is exciting to look forward to, and around here, there is so much to do. You can go hiking, mountain biking, walking, etc.
Washington is known for having some of the best scenery in the entire country. Hiking around places like Mt Rainier and the Cascades is very fun. Places like Greenwater and Cle Elum have many different trailheads for people to enjoy and get to see some amazing scenery.
People can also visit the Olympics and go to towns like Forks and La Push. Washington is not known for its beaches and coastline nonetheless; there is plenty to enjoy here. Activities such as having fires on the beach and flying kites are entertaining.
There is furthermore plenty to do in the city during summer. There are many street fairs and flea markets that happen frequently. One in particular is the Fremont Street Market, which is open throughout the summer. Many different vendors come to sell things like food, vintage clothing, and organic products.
Places like West Seattle and Greenlake are infamous during the summer. They are some of the nicest areas in the city and have great food and sightseeing, you can even go to a Mariners game. T-Mobile Park is a great ballpark and has a great atmosphere.
For Spencer Lanning who is a frequent outdoorsman, he chooses to enjoy camping during the summer. “There are so many great campsites around here that it’s hard not to go. There are even plenty to check out just off trails.”
