November is fast approaching and with it the 2024 Presidential Election. This election is widely considered to be one of the most historic elections in American history as both the candidates presented by the old two parties of America will both break the record for oldest President in American history if elected.
For a long, long time the two party system has dominated the political world of America, presenting Americans with often a lose-lose scenario in which they feel they are never represented by their candidate or party.
Combined with the increasingly clear disconnect between our candidates and the interests of the American people, dissatisfaction is at an all time high and belief in our form of government is fading by the day.
Both Biden and Trump are seemingly incapable of running the country, as in recent months both candidates have begun displaying symptoms of dementia and cognitive decline. With President Biden confusing countries across the world from each other and tripping over his words in every speech he delivers and former President Trump confusing his political opponents and declaring the current President to be Obama it is clear that neither of these men are in any way able to run the United States.
Now that we are entering, and indeed have entered, a new age for America, it is clear that the two parties which have dominated American politics since the Civil War are now outdated and failing in this modern era.
If the current political powers of the country wish to avoid a catastrophe like never before seen, they will have to open up discourse for more parties and younger candidates to give voice to those who currently feel voiceless.
