As we close out the first semester of the school year, we will only have two more quarters and one more semester left to deal with before we kick off our summer break. Now, acknowledge that we only have like about five months left being trapped in this building, but just imagine the new things that are waiting for you, now opportunities to take advantage of, new classes (or the same depending on your schedule), a chance to see if you share classes with friends!
Within Tahoma High School, a large handful of students are becoming relieved that finals have concluded (Hooray! No more stress!), as they continue onto their path to the latest adjustment to their new schedules. Students that are in the freshman threshold are adapting to the changes. Olivia Murray, who prefers to be just called Murray describes this alternating process of the transition of the new classes
“I am trying hard to grasp the new classes and preparing for the new semester. My classes have just switched spots and it is more walking for me but it’s ok. I want to be more ready” Murray exclaims about her schedule adjustments; readsuny to undertake on these new tasks
Introducing another student: Kai, they explained that within these changes, “I’m pretty prepared for the next semester but I am going to keep working through things I could improve more on” As they are committed to do the well-suited goals
With finals finally concluding the first semester, students are releasing their pressure from exams and are expecting themselves to create resolutions.
Murray says that during finals, she has tried to block out finals. And hopes of making preparations and becoming more ready next time.
“I’m very relieved that finals are over. It was a hard week and I wish to never do them again although I know that’s not going to happen…” Kai said with slight disparity. They later planned that next semester, they’re going to try and really work on organization and getting all assignments turned in on time. Bea Wilson; a sophomore, is considering keeping up their good moral behavior in education. “I think I want to keep my grades up so I can go to camp Casey!” Bea says.
With the first round of school done, nearly everyone is prepared to take the chance to start fresh with these new responsibilities and events. Even though this change is new for nearly everybody, we should all consider thinking that we are halfway through until summer break!
