Tahoma High School’s dance team is a talented and spirited group that has captured the hearts of many with their captivating performances and impressive skills. The Tahoma High School dance team is known for their precision, creativity, and unwavering passion for dance.

Senior Kylee Perkins is currently the dance captain. She has been on the team since she was a freshman. 

“I love being part of the dance team because it has taught me about the importance of discipline and hard work. Everybody on the team is always cheering each other on and inspiring everyone else to work harder.” 

“As I’ve gone through some pretty overwhelming things, dance has always been a way for me to process emotions and leave everything I’m feeling at the door to work hard during practice and have a great time”

The team members undergo rigorous training and practice sessions to perfect their choreography, mastering a range of dance styles including hip-hop, and pom.

In addition to their exceptional performances, the dance team members at Tahoma High School are known for their strong support for one another. They share a deep bond that extends beyond the dance studio, showing encouragement, and friendship.

 Kylee Perkins has been leading the team to victory.

“Competitions are also such a fun time and I love seeing what other teams are working on and showing off how hard we’ve been working. It has been such an amazing experience being on the team and I’ve loved every second of it. Coming up we’ll be performing at a couple wrestling tournaments, basketball games and we’ll be hosting a competition as well as competing at Kentlake. I couldn’t be more excited!”
