When you hear the name Harry Styles what do you think of? Normally you think, One Direction, new albums, or Love on Tour, but what do fans do when they don’t have those things to look forward to?
With Love on Tour coming to a close in late July this year, many fans didn’t know what to look forward to next, but even with the tour no longer happening, Harry has still been giving them so much to focus on.
In early November of this year it was announced that his brand Pleasing will be releasing a line of perfume and everyone was ecstatic. While the perfume is expensive coming in at $135, many people can’t wait to buy it, and many others already have.
As an avid Harry Styles fan, when asking Alexis Blair her thoughts on the perfume she stated, “I’m too broke for that, but as soon as I get money it’s mine.”
While the perfume line seems to be taking over a lot of people’s minds, many Harry fans can only think about the recent haircut that he got only a month ago. When most people think Harry Styles they think long curls, but that no longer seems to be the case.
When promoting the perfume line, there were rumors that Harry had gotten a buzz cut but nothing had been confirmed.
Harry’s brand Pleasing posted a photo of him with his newly shaved head and fans went wild. Many fans showed a lot of distaste for the new haircut saying things like, “I’m still mourning” and “no! He’s hairy styles for a reason.”
While some people have neither negative nor positive things to say about the hairstyle, many people are upset that he would shave his head even though he is on his hiatus spending his time doing what he wants out of the public eye.
Some of the comments had gotten so bad and so excessive that Harry’s mother Anne Twist had decided to get involved saying, “When you consider that H has a legacy of kindness and inclusion, has always made every effort to make everyone feel seen and appreciated for exactly who they are … there’s an irony in the negativity he’s been shown for having a haircut. Sorry but I don’t get it.”
I hope fans can learn to respect and appreciate him for what he does for his fans rather than hate and judge him for a haircut he got on his own time.
As a rather big fan myself, I am not focused on what his hair looks like but rather if he will come back for another album and tour.
We can only hope that things work out for him in his personal and professional life and I know many of us will love him no matter what.
