Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour was a top hit from the start of May, all throughout October. The venues were crowded at every concert held around the world and everybody she had everyone participating. Overall, it was a fun comfortable atmosphere for many Beyonce fans and people part of the LGBTQ+ community.
Beyonce did many things that had the crowd participating, such as, the “mute challenge,” where in her song named “Energy,” everybody would go mute for about 5-10 seconds.
This was a huge part of the concert that people worldwide would go crazy over.
Samantha Neilsen, a Beyonce fan says, “The mute challenge is iconic, I would have never expected something this popular from her.”
Beyonce had a chokehold on almost every fan throughout the tour giving them outfit themes, wearing iconic outfits herself, etc.
Viviana Melgoza, another Beyonce fan says, “Her outfits served everything I would expect from her on a silver platter.”
Something else that made the tour even more exciting for people was the fact that she didn’t just sing her new album, she sang all her iconic songs from the past that brung the crowd even more into the beat with her iconic backup dancer, Honey Balenciaga, dancing throughout the whole show with times of her having multiple solo moments mid-concert.
Towards the end of her tour on September 4, she had a show in California on her birthday. She sent out a thing on her social media giving everybody a dress code. Many celebrities showed up and many were dressed to impress all over the stadium as per usual for her tours.
There are a lot of mixed reviews on the tour however, such as the stadiums being so big that people who paid $1000+ for tickets that seemed great could barely see the stage. Many people online and specifically said in the, “INSIDER’s,” article that she is the “best performer alive” and much praisment for the exciting concerts.
The venues were just simply too crowded for many people to see Beyonce and her backup dancers.
