Do you believe Kanye deserves his fame?

Kanye West (name recently changed to Ye) has been one of America’s trending news topics for the past few years.

West is an extremely controversial celebrity with obvious opinions.

Many students at Tahoma “stan Kanye West ” and I will be interviewing some of my fellow classmates on why this is.

A fellow classmate of mine, Stella Barry says “he definitely has done things in his life and it paid off since he worked hard in certain areas but a lot of what he is famous for isn’t completely his music, it’s mainly around politics and drama.”

I definitely agree with Barry’s claim but his music has been in the top rankings for years now and personally I enjoy his music.

West’s top hit is “Flashing Lights” which was released in 2007.

West has not been on tour since 2016 when he was on The St. Pablo tour he is straying away from touring because of his mental health and psychiatric issues.

TMZ News explains how Kanye is just too exhausted to perform and go on tour.

He’s been working around the clock on fashion design, both his line, and the Adidas line.”

Another classmate of mine, Amari Gilman names herself a “Kanye Stan” and she explained her thoughts on why to me, “[She] believes he deserves his fame because of how good his entire discography is and him also being involved with the Kardashians but he’s had several mental episodes over the internet that have caused him to look like a horrible person.”

I agree with Gilman but also West has had way too many interferences with people in a higher power than him and caused conflict.

West was recently diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder which causes extreme mood swings and affects the person’s mood, energy, and ability to function which explains how West has been on and off with social media for the past 10 years.

As of now, West and his wife Kim Kardashian are filing a divorce and Kardashian is striving for a restraining order against West as she fears he is a “danger to [their] kids”.

With conflicts with Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift as well as many other conflicts with his acquaintances which has caused enemies for West.

His fame in the music industry is very hard to beat and ignore with other albums and singles dropping, this is causing him to have fame forever.
