To answer some of these reasonable questions, our principal, Mrs. Belavo and how she feels this will impact our school, and why the Bear Beans are closing in full detail. And whether the school will open Bear Beans back up after April or even next year? Belavo stated in full detail that the school will not be closing the student store or Bear Beans, but they will simply modify their offerings to be in line with smart snacks requirements. Bear Beans is going to close the last few months of this year so they can work on recipes that are smart snacks compliant and plan to reopen next school year. Belavo also said how she thinks the students will act while the two take away some things and bring in new things as well. These changes will possibly impact profits as students who can go off campus may choose to leave campus to buy the items they want at a store nearby. Others may adapt to the new offerings. Belavo stated. Prior to things changing, she also wanted to let the students know that Smart Snacks is a federal legislation that we are required to be compliant with. Over the years we have brought our vending machines into compliance and post-Covid it is now important that we are fully compliant.
How do the students feel about these major impacts of the school closing? What do they think will happen to our school after they close? Do you think that the students here at tahoma will still be as cheerful as they are today? What do you all think?
