Introduction
The Super Bowl, an annual event that takes place between two football teams. This year’s Super Bowl will be on February 9th, in the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. The Chiefs are an extraordinary team, with them standing on the chance to accomplish the first three-peat of the Super Bowl era. The Eagles are also a highly competitive team, with them competing against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl just two years prior. With this rivalry in place, everyone wants to know; who will win the Super Bowl this year?

Pre-Game Stats
Before that question can be answered, it’s important to understand the strength of both teams’ offense and defense. For offense, we will be using touchdowns to gauge whether or not their offense is better than the opposing team. To start, the Chief’s offense is decent; with them only scoring 1 more touchdown than their opponents. The Eagles scored 8 more touchdowns than their opponents, making them better at offense overall. The next stat we’re going to look at is the defense, and to gauge whether or not they have better defense we will be using conversion plays. The Chiefs defense isn’t much better then their offense, with them allowing more yards and only stopping a little over half of the conversions and passes. The Eagles on the other hand, have more offensive yards than defensive yards and have stopped more conversions and passes than the Chiefs. This information is all found on the Chiefs and Eagles official websites.
Predictions
Given the information above, it’s clear to assume that the Eagles are going to win the Super Bowl. However, with the Chiefs winning the past two Super Bowls; there’s a chance that they could pull their offense together and get through the Eagles defense. All being said, I still believe that the Eagles will win given their dominant defense and team capabilities.

Conclusion (Post Game)
At the end of Super Bowl 59, the final score ended up being 22-40; with the Eagles winning. During the first two quarters of the game, the Eagles were dominant; scoring touchdown after touchdown. The Chiefs didn’t see as much success, scoring zero touchdowns in the first two quarters. Although they had a rough start, the Chiefs were able to bring their team together to score a total of three touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters; but it wasn’t enough. To gather some opinions on the game’s turnout, we interviewed Joshua Terrell a sports medicine teacher at Tahoma High School.
“One of the things that surprised me the most about the Super Bowl game was the final score.”
Terrell stated, clearly shocked by the Chiefs poor performance.
“I expected to see more touchdowns, and the amount of sacks was crazy”
All in all, the Eagles were able to shut the Chiefs down; and prevent the first three-peat in Super Bowl history.
