Introduction
Lunchly, a food product made for kids that has taken the internet by storm these past few weeks. It’s advertised as a Lunchables competitor, and is supposed to be a healthier alternative. Lunchly was created by infamous content creators such as Logan Paul, KSI and Mr. Beast. Just how much healthier is Lunchly compared to Lunchables? Let’s ask a health teacher at Tahoma High School.
Opinion From a Professional
In an interview with Ciera Lozier, a health teacher at Tahoma High School; her professional knowledge was able to shed light on the situation. Lozier stated that
“Both meals are horrible.”
And that they wouldn’t be healthy or nutritional choices for children. She also states
“I will choose the real product over the processed product every time.”
Further showing why both Lunchly and Lunchables aren’t good options for children. Although both meals wouldn’t be optimal for childrens lunches, she did say that
“Product 1 (Lunchly) would be a better option than Product 2 (Lunchables).”
Lozier acknowledges that Lunchly has better nutritional value than Lunchables, however she also says that
“I wouldn’t pay more for Product 1 because both of them are horrible.”
After concluding the interview with Lozier, the takeaway was that both Lunchables and Lunchly are horrible products for children but Lunchly is slightly better. Although the nutritional value of Lunchly may be better than Lunchables, the cost of the product has driven away thousands of customers worldwide. Alongside the heightened price, the controversy surrounding the creators of the product has damaged the reputation to an irreversible degree. Let’s hear the opinion from a real fan of KSI, Logan Paul and Mr. Beast.
Opinion From a Lunchly Enthusiast
During an interview with Cody McAllen, a student attending Tahoma High School; he was able to answer some questions about Lunchly.
“Lunchly is a better option than Lunchables because it has real ingredients, fresh tastes and is very affordable.”
He says, explaining why Lunchly may be healthier than Lunchables. The controversy surrounding the product causes a lot of people to stray away from the product, what does McAllen think about this?
“Although many dislike the idea of influencers making a product, it means that there are trusted creators and it will most likely be safe.”
McAllen states that because it’s made by massive creators the product must be safe. The issue with this is that it’s made by extremely scandalous community figureheads. Logan Paul scammed millions of dollars with Crypto Zoo, and Mr. Beast held illegal lotteries and hired registered sex offenders to work for a company that’s target audience is children.
“Even though Lunchly is nutritionally healthier than Lunchables, it has less calories and children need calories to grow.”
McAllen says that Lunchly may not be a viable lunch option for children because they aren’t able to get the sustenance needed to grow. This is a massive issue, and with the prices of Lunchly being higher than Lunchables it just seems like clients are paying more for less. All in all, it seems that even though Lunchly may be slightly healthier than Lunchables; that the price associated with the amount you’re getting outweighs the minor nutritional differences.
