This year, Tahoma High School is opening up summer jobs available for people over 16 years of age! Applications are currently open right now, and they close Monday, June 10th. Applicants for Custodial positions must be at least 16 years of age to apply, and applicants for Grounds Maintenance positions must be 18 years of age to apply.

What’s required for me to apply?
All applicants are expected to complete the online application on the website, and to provide an updated cover letter/resume. For students, the work history section can include coaching, volunteer work, assistant positions, etc.
How will I be notified if I am selected for an interview or not?
Candidates selected for an interview are contacted via telephone, or email. Students are still expected to undergo the interview process.
Do I need to be released from my current employer to accept employment with you?
It depends. For students, since they’re only applying for custodial and ground maintenance jobs, it’s up to their current employer to advise whether they will be released or not.
How will I know when my application is being considered?
Completing registration already qualifies you as an active applicant in the system. However, only applicants that have a status of “Complete” are considered for the position. To do so, the applicant must complete every section of My Profile, including the required items in My Checklist. This ensures consideration for the position. Over the summer, student helpers are expected to aid custodians and the grounds maintenance department to help keep Tahoma clean over the summer. As of right now, applications are closed due to the sheer amount of people signing up. Applications may be open again if another position arises, so keep an eye out for that!
